Great reasons to buy the Samsung Galaxy S9 or the Galaxy S9 Plus

I like my current work issued Samsung S7, but for personal use, I will definitely draw closer to buying either the S9 or S9+, Here’s why:

It’s easy for some skeptics write-off Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus as a minor upgrade to the Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. Certainly, S8 & S8 Plus owners might be hesitant to upgrade unless they’re on one of the yearly upgrade programs. But I do think the Galaxy S9 and S9+ has earned its crust as more than just another media frenzy handset release. usual fairly frequent.

Here are some of the best reasons I think the S9 or the S9 Plus is worth buying.

Newest Docking Station on the market

Previously, Samsung introduced the amazing DeX Station, which allowed you to plug your Samsung handset into a desktop device and effectively create a desktop computing experience, the company this year is readying a new device called the DeX Pad, according to reports.  The DeX Pad for the S9 and S9+ is a flat dock unlike the first DeX device for the S8, which looks like more like a traditional dock.

Boasting a USB-C connector, two USB ports and one HDMI port your phone will have to lie on its back when plugged in, because it can apparently turn your S9 or S8 — it’s backwards compatible — into a touchpad or a virtual keyboard. If you’ll recall, Samsung’s DeX dock can transform the S8 into a desktop PC, so long as you have a screen, a mouse and a keyboard. This upgraded dock is able to eliminate the need for a mouse and keyboard.

Brilliant New Device Color

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available in four different colour options: black, gold, blue, and Lilac Purple.

The Good old Headphone Jack

Samsung, OnePlus , and a couple of other companies like LG have been considerate by ensuring that their flagships have a headphone jack.. The S9 will be going head to head against the iPhone X, and more niche rivals like Google’s Pixel 2: all of them surviving sans a headphone jack.

So Samsung could have omitted the aged old but important analog audio output, but it seems to have opted against it, and that’s worthy of our gratitude. USB-C earphones are all still either bad or expensive — or both — and phones that retain compatibility with 3.5mm connectors remain profoundly useful to consumers that aren’t yet convinced by Bluetooth.

Souped up Battery life

Similar to their predecessors, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus both comes with a whopping 3,000 and 3,500mAh batteries, respectively. Why? Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 845 chip delivers 30 percent better power efficiency.

Stunning video and photos

The S9 will feature a single camera, while the S9+ will get a dual camera setup. Both will are capable of shooting video in a new ‘super slo-mo’ mode that’s being touted as the pair’s killer feature. The cameras are tweaked and video is a huge improvement.

Samsung doesn’t have the fastest slow motion going, that honor goes to Sony with a massive 900fps. The problem is, Sony’s allows a fraction of a second record time at that rate, and capturing things is hard and requires staggering amounts of light. Samsung’s more moderate slow motion is seemingly unlimited in duration, and produces a massive slowdown for high-speed action. It also does so at full HD.

Then there’s 4K video at 60 frames per second. This is a feature that a lot of expensive video cameras don’t have. What it gives you is smooth and crisp video that has insanely high resolutions. It’s an amazing tool for shooting videos of pets, kids and life in general. It won’t look stuttery like 24fps video does, and if you want to apply effects later to make a more “film” look, you certainly can do.
